Kitty

It's been a while since I painted an ACEO so thought it was time I made one!  They're quicker to do than my other illustrations and it's fun to try something different too.  I took inspiration from a cat that likes to visit our garden for this painting.  We don't know what her name is so just call her Kitty.
Kitty first started visiting our garden this spring - she was so sweet and obviously quite young still as she was very playful :)  Now she's grown up she doesn't think we are as interesting to play with any more but she does still stop by our garden sometimes!

Bookmarks

New in store - bookmarks!  I've just had these bookmarks printed - they're on the same lovely thick, glossy card as my postcards and have a simple ribbon to finish them off.
Most of the bookmarks feature my Hexley prints at the moment - 8 different clockwork birds, Elizabeth Bridges, Kate Alston, DORA and Hexley Diving Station.  There are also a couple of cute animal ones.
I will be listing them as pairs of bookmarks in my shop... www.HazelFisherCreations.etsy.com

Christmas Baubles printable scrapbooking papers

To coordinate with my Christmas Baubles digital collage sheet here's a new set of printable scrapbooking papers...
There are 8 designs, each measuring 12x12 inches and can be printed on A4 paper.  Two of the designs feature baubles but the other papers in the set are quite versatile so could be used in projects all year round - not just for Christmas!
These papers are available in my shop... www.hfcSupplies.etsy.com

Clockwork American Robin

As Edwin Cracknell's fame for clockwork creations spread he soon began to receive commissions from further afield.  This American Robin was a request from an American friend...
Prints of this clockwork bird are available in my shop along with other clockwork birds... www.HazelFisherCreations.etsy.com

Baking!

We love watching The Great British Bake Off in my house (on BBC2, Tuesdays at 8pm).  After weeks of cakes, biscuits, pastries and pies tonight is the final - I wonder who will win??

The programme has also inspired us to do more baking.  I made these Maids of Honour a few weeks ago...
I've also been practising dropped scones (like American pancakes I think) which I'd never tried making until recently...
And here's my latest bake - a Victoria sponge for my Grandma's birthday :)
