This privacy policy describes how and when I collect, use and share information when you use my blog.

What data do I collect and how is it used?

  • Cookies are used on this website to collect information on how visitors use my website and to help me make improvements to the site.
  • If you contact me, email me or leave a comment I collect personal information such as your name and email address. This information will only be used to respond to your messages.
  • You will only be added to my newsletter list if you expressly subscribe using one of my sign up forms.  I will not add you to the list if you contact me for any other reason. If you do subscribe to my newsletter I will send you an email around once a month about my latest designs, special offers and other news about my business which I think you will be interested in.  You can unsubscribe any time you like via the ‘unsubscribe’ link which is at the bottom of all of my emails. I use a third party provider; MailChimp, to send my email newsletters and to store the data about my subscribers.  You can see their privacy policy here.

Sharing information
The only circumstances in which I will share your data are if you sign up to my newsletter or by complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below. You will not be added to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
The circumstances in which I may share your data are:
  • With Mailchimp if you subscribe to my newsletter
  • To comply with legal obligations

Your Rights
In accordance with UK and European law under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to request a copy of the personal information I hold about you, to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.
