Introducing my Newsletter and A Free Printable Card!

Free Printable Colour in Thank You Card by hazelfishercreations
One of the goals I set myself for my business this year was to start a newsletter, so after some research I have been learning to use Mailchimp.  I am excited to announce that I am now ready to start signing people up to subscribe and the first newsletter should be going out later this month!

I plan to share things like my latest designs, blog posts, exclusive offers and other exciting news.  I'll send a newsletter out once or twice a month - so don't worry, I won't be filling your inbox with too many emails!  I hope that it will be something people will enjoy receiving.
As a special thank you, if you sign up to my newsletter, you will also be able to download a free printable colour in thank you card which I have designed (which you can see in the photo above).

As well as working on a newsletter, I have been redesigning my business logo and website, which I hope to launch very soon! You will get to see a sneak peek at my new logo / banner design if you sign up to my newsletter as it appears in the "welcome" email.
You can sign up to my newsletter here (you can unsubscribe anytime you like).  I hope you like using the free printable card!

Gift Ideas for Teachers and Printable Thank You Cards

2015 July 01 Printable thank you teacher appreciation sunflower card hazelfishercreations 1
The school year is nearly over and it will soon be the summer holidays (they have already started for some!), which means it’s the time of year for letting teachers know how much you appreciate them and all their hard work throughout the year.

My sister is a primary school teacher so I asked her for some help in putting together some ideas of gifts which teachers appreciate – it doesn’t have to be something expensive, often a thoughtful handmade card or gift made by one of the children is more appreciated.  Here are some more ideas…
  1. A bunch of pretty flowers
  2. A potted plant
  3. Chocolate or sweets
  4. Wine (if you know they drink it)
  5. Stationery is really useful such as pens, notebooks or post it notes
  6. Things for the classroom – like books
  7. Something handmade
  8. Gift cards or vouchers – you could club together with other parents for these
  9. Biscuits or cakes
  10. Canvas tote bag – useful for carrying all those school books to mark!
If you would like to give a teacher something handmade, but don't have the time or skill to make something yourself, there are lots of wonderful things to find on Etsy - I put together a few items in this Etsy treasury - find links to all the shop included here > Teacher Thank You Gifts

Fish Printables part 2

I'm launching the next 3 products from my fish range today...
First up is a pair of printable gift boxes...
The design of one box features lots of fish and the other has a simpler pattern of spots and fish scales.  I've decorated the box photographed using a little fish tag, some fancy eyelash yarn and blue stranded cotton.  These little boxes are perfect for giving small gifts in a unique way - they could also be used as favour boxes at parties.
I have decided to expand my range of printable products by designing more items for parties.  It's simple to achieve a themed party with little more than a printer and scissors - if you're feeling more adventurous the printables could be embellished too.
These tent cards (there are 4 designs in the set) come blank with the option to personalise - they're great as thank you cards but could also be used as food labels...
Also new in the party range are these name place cards.  The full sheet includes 8 different fish designs...

More printables in the party range will be released tomorrow! :)

If you like these fish printables why not enter my giveaway for a chance to win any 4 printables from my shop!
