Etsy Treasuries (and front page!)

I'm always so happy when someone has liked one of my items enough to include it in their treasury and Saturday was even more exciting as my buttons were on the UK front page of Etsy! :D  I love the bright blues/ greens and yellows in this treasury. (The treasury above was on the front page)

Treasuries are a fun way to stumble across new items from other people too :)
Here are a couple of other treasuries which also include my items... Bold bright reds...
and a lion themed collection (these are so cute!)...

Playtime

Time for a little experimentation with ACEOs... I made this collaged ACEO using one of my ACEO backing papers, a copy of an old family photograph, some vintage buttons and fibres.  In the bottom left corner I picked up the flower detail on the backing paper by hand stitching around the outline.  I've also rubber stamped the text 'playtime'.

Spring time

This is my favourite time of year - warm sunny weather and everything in the garden is growing (although we could do with a bit more rain as there's been hardly any for months).

The nest box in our garden is home to a family of blue tits.  The parents are working hard, in and out of the box every few seconds feeding the babies - no wonder they look a bit scruffy!
And the babies are getting bigger (and bolder) - if you look carefully you can just see one baby peeping out of the hole in the box... I hope that I'm around to see when they finally fly the nest :)
A couple more photos from my garden of the growing fruit... pears and strawberries...

Polymer Clay Buttons

I love vintage buttons and I have so many pretty ones in my collection :)  I only have one or two of some designs, so thought I would have a go at making polymer clay versions to use on cards etc.  Not that I need any more buttons but it also meant I could try them in different colours too!
Most of the clay buttons shown in the photos were made by making a mold from the vintage button, then making a clay button from the mold.  The two on the far left were made from cutting a shape from rolled clay then using a fancy vintage button to press a pattern into the surface then adding two holes.

Postcards are now in stock!

I have been taking new photos of my postcards to list in my Etsy shop, I think they look nice hung up on a line with my pegs decorated with scrapbooking paper :)

Strawberries

It's just like summer here at the moment - lovely weather!  The strawberries seem to like it too and are growing really well, I'm hoping for a bumper crop this year :)  Inspired by my growing fruit I designed some new printables...

They're some of my favourite paper designs so far :)  Both the scrapbooking papers and collage sheet are now available in my Etsy shop.
